I remember someone from one of the Montessori Yahoo groups...or Catholic Charlotte Mason or another related yahoo group posting pictures on the yahoo site about building a model of The Ark of The Covenant, complete with pictures and it was posted in the files section. Does anyone remember this?

I have looked and looked and can't find (or remember) exactly where it is. I want to make one withe my kiddoes. Any ideas where I can find it or some other good ideas to make my own??

I remember that it was spray-painted gold and bird feathers from the craft store were also painted and used for the top of the ark. I forgot the rest of the good ideas that were used to create it. I just remember it was a good idea and I wanted to use it... lol

So before I lose any more time searching, I thought I would ask here...

This thread is the only Ark of the Covenant I remember. The link that's working is the one to Maryan's blog of her completed work.

Maybe she can share the instructions? It really is fabulous.
