Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Another LifeTeen thread, more from a youth ministry point of view.
In other threads, there are parishes with high attendance for LifeNights, how are you marketing and getting the kids out to the LifeNights? We're a parish of 5000, and we have a very small group that attends. Edge is a little better, but not much. I know our marketing isn't working. So I'm looking for ideas to build our attendance.

I would love suggestions!

text them.. seriously, that's what our lacrosse team does.. they figured out that kids check their texts better than anything else.. there's also programs out there you can use to send mass texts and automate reminders and such.

Yes, texting would be very effective imo. Another way is to post it on Face Book. This is how the youth group my dd attends does it. I haven't let her have a facebook page yet (mean mommy) but when I see something is posted about the youth group I have her read it.

We have no problems getting the information to the kids we have, we have a facebook page and email. Youth Minister handles the email due to privacy.

What I'm talking about is to those who aren't coming, how do we reach them?

I just asked my son your question. He does not attend Life Teen. He said that it might not be about "reaching" as much as being available. He knows they are there and that he is welcome which is great.

Our Life Teen program has been very respectful of my teens choices not to attend. My kids contribute to the parish in other ways. We're very grateful that there are happy options for everyone.

It sounds to me like you are doing an awesome job! Just keep connecting with kids organically at the parish, and they will come .

Love,
