Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm teaching a physical science class for our enrichment program. It is for 7th and 8th grade. We are covering Newton's Laws of Motion next week. I am looking for suggestions for good in class demos and activities. What do you recommend? I've got a couple, but am still searching for more. Especially wnat ones that are easy to get materials for but are impactful in demonstrating.

Also, are there any materials or resources to suggest? I have several general physics books obviously with info on force and motion. Looking for any that are particularly good resources with ideas or visuals.

Help me brianstorm...

Oh and I did just request, Isaac Newton and Physics for Kids (His Life and Ideas with 21 Activities). I'm hoping there is something good in there.

Any out of print/vintage titles welcome, too - not just current.

Disney Imagineering Gravity talks about the laws of motion.

It's a fast paced and very entertaining dvd (not cartoony). Our library has the whole series.
It's about 30 minutes long- but not sure if you want a dvd or just books.

It would be a great visual aid.
