Hello 4Real Moms~
Pardon my absence, but as you can see from the subject line, we have been quite busy this fall. :)
God is very good and has made our discernment very clear.
As of Dec. 12th, we had all our paperwork finished. Thank you, Our Lady of Guadalupe!
As of Dec. 13th, 2012, everything was finalized! Thank you, St. Lucy! WE ARE ADOPTION READY and can take a baby home at anytime, theoretically. 
Now, the hard part is the waiting.
We need to be *matched*...and our agency, Catholic Charities, has matched 13 babies in 4 years. Talk about slim odds. But God works in mysterious ways, and we know He will guide our feet on this path.
If you hear of any situations of a mom looking for an adoptive family, please contact us. :) We do have two children (have lost 3 in miscarriage), but as we have said a lot this Christmas Season, "There is always room for a little one here!" (I know the 4Real moms will get this literary reference!). 
We are open to any infant (or twins) under 12 months...and if a newbie is attached to a sibling of 3yo or younger, we would take both as well.
Above all, we beg for your prayers. We continually pray that the Lord make His way clear for us--that there is no confusion--that we may have Peace.

Congratulations, Maggie!
We are just about to submit our paperwork tomorrow and I am wondering what else they could possibly want, but I bet it will be something! I am truly happy for you. Adoption wasn't something we were seeking, but we feel very priviledged to be part of the adoption world now. It is amazing.
I am confident God has this all figured out and I pray it will be quick!
