We are loving Q-Bitz ,
Settrio, Mythmatical battles, and Gobblet Gobblers.
The 6 yo is loving Gobblet Gobblers because Gobblet is just a notch hard for her yet. The whole family is enjoying Q-Bitz, which is great because it was the pickle gift. Settrio is so fun and challenging. The 8 yo loves, loves, loves Mythmatical Battles.
What about you, any fun games?

We are LOVING Have You Herd and 10 Days in the USA. Both really great games for the 8+ crowd. Actually, though, my son who just turned 7 is enjoying both of them, too.
I really want to get Ticket to Ride sometime but it is so pricey for a board game!

Well, we have several that we have been too lazy to find out if they're fun or not.. We got Spot It, Perplexus, Angry Birds card game and The Divinity game: The New Catholic Catechism Learning System can't wait to see how that one is. Perplexus has been tried out by quite a number of people here and really enjoyed. I can't play it seems like every time I try I get a little one bumping my elbow

We have Divinity and really enjoy it. I am amazed at what my kids do (and do not ) know when we play it. I bet you'll enjoy it!

We have Spot It- got it for Christmas last year, and I keep it in my purse.
It is excellent for waiting in the doctor's office
Also good in restaurants.
My dc love their new Angry Birds game. Also got Number Ninjas but haven't tried that yet.

The Hobbit was a big hit with dc and was enjoyed with visiting family ~ it really fit nicely with the much anticipated movie, since tickets were our main Christmas gift for dc this year! They also received the soundtrack, which they enjoyed listening to while playing the board game! Bilbo's famous line, "I'm going on an adventure!" was oft-repeated in our house this Christmas and even made it into games of telephone pictionary! I think we're all Hobbits and Dwarves at heart!
Fun for the entire family, including Grandma ~ Farkle Party Game. (I think I bought ours for about half the price listed though)

Wow there are so many new (to me) gamesnin this thread! My in-laws gave the kids Laser Khet 2.0 yesterday. We tried it this morning and it was fun. We've also played lots of Apples to Apples and Hearts and my son taught us a fun group solitaire game called Nerts.

I know it is spendy, but we think definitely worth the money. This has been a favorite for years. We have a couple different versions.
This year they are enjoying Pandemic. It isn't exactly ours - we got it for one of our seminarian friends who had wanted it. Since he left on pilgrimage yesterday he wanted us to have it the 3 weeks he is gone so it feels like ours right now... It is for older players (10+). I know it sounds weird - a game about global infection/disease??? but they are all loving it. It is a cooperative game - everyone wins or loses together.

Ticket to Ride is also a favorite here.
We got Bang this year and it is a hit with all of the kids. Also the new Dominion Dark Ages Expansion. Unfortunately we have a shop at the end of the block specializing in expensive German games

10 Days in the USA has been a big hit here too, along with Pit, Perplexus Epic, MLB Spot it and Busytown for the little people.
Pass the Pigs and Nowhere to Go were pretty much busts though.
Farkle, Ruckus and Sleeping Queens were oldies of ours that saw a lot of play over Christmas too.

PIT is SO FUN!!!!!! We've had that for a couple years now and everyone loves it. It's so crazy and hyper and loud!!!!!! Every family should own PIT! It's good therapy for me too....it's one of the things I grab when I feel myself ready to EXPLODE!

That's a good one for the littles! We bring that one out a lot when the olders want to play a big-kid-game and then the littles play that.
