Please pray for my dear friend Maureen and her DH, who lost her little baby to miscarriage today. She was only about 6 weeks along, but so excited about this new little life.

Jenn,
No, this is her second pregnancy. And, I have some good news to report. Her bleeding and cramping stopped, and after speaking with the doctor, my friend thinks that she may not have miscarried after all. She's going in on Monday for more tests to find out for sure. Please keep praying!

Dear friends,
Maureen went to the doctor today and had some lab work done, but she won't find out the results until tomorrow. The doctor wants to do a sonogram, but wants to wait another week as he says it will be easier to see what's going on by then (she'll be 8 weeks by then). She doesn't really know anything new yet, but there has been no more bleeding or cramping, which is a positive sign. She's kind of frustrated over having to wait to find out if the baby is still alive or not, so please keep praying. I'll let you know what happens. Thank you so much for your prayers. I know they are helping her through this tough time.

Dear friends,
Good news! Maureen had a sonogram yesterday and saw a healthy baby with a beating heart. The source of her bleeding was an area of her uterus where the endometrium is shedding. Thankfully, this is not a danger to the developing baby and the doctor thinks it will heal on its own as the pregnancy progresses. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Such good news, Dawn. Praise God! I'm so glad for Maureen and her husband that the waiting is over, and they have seen a heartbeat. I will pray for a continued and healthy pregnancy! thanks for posting the update.
