Hi Friends,

My husband’s oldest nephew and his wife just had their first baby Wednesday.....this little sweetheart needs prayers.....she has Downs Syndrome and pretty significant heart issues that will need addressed in the next few months. I know this is a big shock, a lot to work through for this couple...but mama is a nurse (a cardiac nurse at that!!) and this precious baby will be surrounded by many who love her.....my family included! Lily can NOT wait to see her newest cousin.

Please pray for this little one’s health....for her parents....and the whole extended family and community, that they embrace and welcome this special baby...and that she gets all of the proper medical and ongoing care she needs to thrive. Thanks so much!

Thanks, Friends. She is doing really, really well. The parents are doing well, especially now that she is home. Her heart surgery is next Spring...I’ll post an update then. I can NOT wait to hold her, she is such a precious little girl.
