SIGH. . . . well MOST of us in the family get what the DVR is for - record something you can't watch when its on - watch it later - then delete. DS 9yrs old - he has our DVR 95% full! GEE! I just told him - you need to delete most of this! I tried to explain the purpose of the DVR. OH well - love to start my day contention! I think the next reality show needs to be: DVR HOARDERS!. He's got it soooo full! I just had him go through and delete some. So now its down to 56%.    . I still want to have it lower. Really its like hoarding in a way! My new rule for him is: if you record a show - you must find one to delete! Really he just doesn't get the idea of: record a show, watch it then delete it!

Sometimes technology is good, but other times I really wonder if we are better off with technology. Really, technology sometimes just makes parenting harder!

Well, Both. I mean the dvr was 95% full - that lots! Funny some were recorded twice - so first we went through to delete "doubles" . He sees something when its on he'll record it! Even so - the ones he does watch over and over - well - enoughs enough! What is even more funny - he only gets 3 - half hour shows per day. So it would take YEARS to get them all watched again!
