Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Is there a topic to recommend youtube videos? (Sorry if I'm out of the loop.) I've found so many videos to be a help in so many subjects... I want to recommend these by "SheIsCatholic" for teen girls. Of course, as in anything, please view them beforehand because some might be a bit "mature". I personally think that my daughter will be very encouraged by most of her videos. There are a few I won't be showing her because she is just 12 years old.

Hey thatsmydaughter! Some of them are geared more toward college age students; the summer videos are less likely to have content that you would need to screen and I think those are her better videos in general. She very much saw her vlogging as something God wanted her to do for Catholic teens and young adults who didn't have an older sister or who felt isolated from other Catholic kids...that is what she experienced growing up too. If any of your kids are often bored, show them her video called "One Year Ago"

About six months ago the young Catholic vloggers started to connect and some of their videos are appropriate for high school. If you are on facebook, check out
https://www.facebook.com/newcatholicgeneration where many of them are posted. I'm in the process of going through them along with sheiscatholic to break them into content and age recommendations to share with others.

Oh wow ~ you sure did a good job raising her! :)
Thanks for the facebook link, and thank you and your daughter for all of your hard work! I am positive that I and my children will benefit from it very much, along with so many others. Bless you!
