Just wondering when you all eat Thanksgiving meal. Usually we eat mid afternoon somewhere between 1:00 - 2:30 range. I keep wondering if thats kind of early. But I like how it gives us time for an after feast walk. And then if anyone is hungry later there is plenty to choose from.

We tend to eat mid-afternoon as well, usually around 3 PM. We eat a late morning brunch to hold us over. Then we just have left over, turkey sandwich type offerings later in evening if anyone gets hungry (ha ha).

When the turkey is done?
I remember this varying a lot as a child  It is not so much of an issue, now, since my husband does not like a stuffed bird, and growing up we always stuffed the bird, which makes cooking time a good bit longer and less predictable.
Mid-afternoon sounds about right for us.

I think we are very unique but I'll share anyways.
We eat brunch when we get home from Mass. Mass is at 9am and by the time we get home and start eating it's about 11 am. THEN, we head over to my Dad's side of the family for late lunch/ dinner meal at about 4 pm. The reason for such a late meal: We roast a pig in the backyard and it takes all day to cook!!!! We actually don't eat turkey on Thanksgiving at all.  We thank God for bringing our family to this great country and eat our traditional fair: Roasted Pig, yuca, black beans and white rice, Cuban bread, and flan.
Actually a few years ago after seeing how much my Minnesota born hubby missed eating turkey on Thanksgiving, my mom started making a turkey on the Sunday after thanksgiving so that he can have an "American" Thanksgiving after all.

We eat at the normal supper time of around 6 pm. Of course some of us also have another family Thanksgiving meal for lunch too with the other side of the family. Usually we get up for breakfast the next morning with family too. If you couldn't tell all our family lives near by and they all expect us to attend.

Depends on what the two sides of the family are doing each year. For awhile we ate brunch at my parent's house and then had dinner at my in-law's house. Some years we do lunch and then dinner. Other times we've just done lunch and then leftovers for dinner (sometimes the in-laws go visiting and we don't see them on Thanksgiving).
This year I think we are doing lunch at my mom's and dinner at a SIL's for my husband's side of the family.
Typically we always have two eating times - one for my side, one for hubby's side.
Now, for Christmas....... We have a Christmas party with my MIL's siblings/cousins and a Christmas party with my FIL's side of the family, then Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas Day with hubby's family. Sometimes there's a work party thrown in, but I haven't been to those much with all the little ones needing my attention.
I LOVE being a part of such a large and fun family!!! My MIL is the oldest of 9 my FIL is 1 of 5 - there are so many cousins that there is always a wedding, graduation, confirmation, first Communion, birth, or something else every year to celebrate. This family likes to party!

late afternoon when at home (or with my mom and sis), whenever MIL plans it when we're there (for some reason I can't remember) but some of it also depends on guests if people are coming in late or need to leave early and such. So it varies.

At both my parents' (Thanksgiving Day) and my in-laws' (the day after Thanksgiving), we eat early afternoon--2pm or so. I prefer it, because that leaves time for a leisurely meal and then dessert later on, around the time we would be eating dinner. And that lets us leave early enough to get the kids in bed on time.

Depends on who's having it, but generally my mom's side of the family, who host our big Thanksgivings, like to eat right at noon. This is so that people who have an hour or so to drive home can have plenty of time to eat and visit and make it home well before dark. One of my uncles obsesses not only about driving after dark himself, but about anyone else driving after dark, especially women, and his obsession tends to settle these kinds of details whenever the family gets together.
This year we're staying home -- and our college girl is coming home, hooray! -- so since it's just us, and nobody is driving anywhere, things will be a little more relaxed. We probably will do a later breakfast and a mid-afternoon lunch, so that nobody really wants to eat supper later, just pick at the remains. I'm looking forward to it -- it's been several years since I cooked Thanksgiving dinner, and I do like to do holiday meals. My mother always comes for Christmas, which I love, but most years we do travel to TN for Thanksgiving.
Can't believe it's only 3 weeks away!

Around 3-4 pm.
Only because that's the way my grandma, and then my mom used to do it. So now I do, too!

We have a big, late breakfast and then eat Thanksgiving meal around 2 or 3. This gives our food time to settle and digest before dessert.
