Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Here is a free printable for a fall digital camera scavenger hunt.
check list

We are so doing this! I love how three is a space to put your favorite picture after the hunt and write a caption for is. This would look great in a nature notebook

This same site has blank nature study calendars you can print and use any way you'd like. I like the little squirrel illustration at the top.

It looks like a very Charlotte Mason friendly site.

I am contemplating getting the prairie kit for our US studies. I know my kids would love, love, love making their own little wooden buffalos. I like that there is a page included about different types of sandpaper, too. My ds will enjoy that, and I would never have thought of investigating sandpaper on my own.

Thanks for sharing this Melinda! We've been having a rough time of it around here it seems. Lots of bickering. I saw this this morning and decided a nature hike was just what we needed. Taking the camera and using this awesome checklist was just the ticket. I think I want to do this every week. I saw some things today to add, like moss, animal tracks in the mud, seed pods, squirrel nests, small animals like chipmunks ...
We've had a difficult time getting back into our nature hikes, but adding the camera in this way was really a motivator for all of us. I just passed the camera from kid to kid and they located and photographed the next item on the list. It was nice to see them cooperate and help each other find a good example of their item.

Just what the doctor ordered! thanks again!

Well, really thank ArtHarmony Mom. I found the link through her website

There is another free printable about the colors of fall that we are working on. It's neat to see how subtle the differences are between shades of colors.

But, alas- one billion crayons in this house and not one copper. Or amber.
Am I going to have have to order the 150 telescoping pack?

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Becky!
