Mind you all these things don't happen together often..

dh texts that he'll be home from work in 5 min for lunch.

oldest daughter takes a moment to put homemade chili on the stove to warm

school work is in progress

laundry got put away

the living room was still mostly picked up

the yard was picked up before the rain and wood was covered..

dh got home and had a hot lunch a few min. later.

NICE

he's back to work, I'm nursing baby down for a nap and kids need to be started back on school but its still good.

We got all the school work done before lunch! We had swimming lessons this afternoon. This hasn't happened in so long that I forgot how it felt to check everything off the school to-do list and in record time. It sure was nice to go to swimming lesson without having to rush home to finish school work!
