I normally don't post requests for these type of incidents from which I'm not personally involved but there was a horrific tragedy last week where a local 17 yr old boy killed his mother and 15 yr old sister. I guess I'm feeling particularly heavy-hearted because they were a home-school family and had just starting attending the Catholic church in their neighborhood. The father was away on business and 2 older daughters no longer live at home. I've been praying since I heard the news for this family and for this unimaginable tragedy for this whole family. Then I learned today that the daughter (and her best friend) attended the co-op my 2 big kids attend. Although she was a little older, they didn't know her personally but it's another factor that hits so close to home.
The family name is Evans and I'm sure you could Google it if you'd like but I think they all need prayers including the boy who no one knows where this came from. His comment to the 911 operator was "I guess this makes me evil."  
Anyway, I know you ladies will help lift up this family during this time and not be critical that "oh, well, that's what happens to those homeschool families" or "those strict Catholic people".

Yes, I had read about it, and thought it was very strange in a way, as the boy looked so calm. However, I will keep them in my prayers.
You are right about the comments! I did get a chuckle when some of the comments went right back to the homeschoolers (the negative ones). There are just a lot of people that are misinformed or base their opinion on what they THINK homeschooling is.
However, I hope the family can experience God's Mercy through this.
