Hi Ladies,
My sweet 14 yr old son, Gabriel, is having his tonsils out at 2pm today. Could you offer up an Ave for everything to go well? He has asthma, and we discovered severe obstructive sleep apnea. Tonsils don't seem like a big deal, but this is tricky. He is allergic to many meds including morphine and codeine. G will be in at least overnight. Pray his airway behaves and his pain is managed well. Thanks.
Update:Gabe is in recovery, dozing, doesn't need O2,Deo Gratias...woke up long enough to say how much it hurts. Hopefully he'll sleep today and go home tomorrow. Thanks so much for your prayers! 
Update 9/25--Gabe is home, with a belly ache from all of the pain meds, steroids and antibiotics...poor guy. The throat pain is bad, but manageable. Hopefully, mama’s homemade mashed potatoes will help.  Thanks for your prayers, a great birthday present to have my lad home and stable!

Definitely! It's not a fun procedure, but he'll breathe (and sleep) much better afterward.
