Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OH my - trying not to panic. Dd will be 15 and get her driving permit next week! I am trying to stay positive and not panic. I do have an older son - but my ex husband taught him. This time - its up to me. AHHHHH. Meaning - I am really nervous and honestly don't know how calm I will be able to be sitting in the passenger seat!

Also, going to be REALLY difficult to get all those parent driving hours that texas requires. My main difficulty - I can't bring my 9yr old along, he is too young to stay home alone. . . . So REALLY don't know how this will work. My new neighborhood I moved into - the kids are hermits - we don't know anyone. Boy! This keeps me up at nights!

No solution in sight!

Is there a program or something that your 9yr old could join? Scouts? where you could drive him and your daughter to his event, drop him off and spent the time he's there letting her drive, then when you pick him up you drive everyone home?
