Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've used AAS for several years. A friend recently let me borrow her AAR materials. I did not intend to buy or use them, but she wont need them for the coming year, and they're just sitting in the bag, and they do look like such nice books ....
Anyway! I have one that will be doing AAS level 1 this year and I think that is the year that corresponds with the AAR level 1. Is that correct? Does anyone know if there is a schedule to follow so the programs benefit each other? At first glance, it seems that they aren't in sync. That's okay. I'm just wondering if there is a way to use them together, for example, when the child is learning to read the "ing" sound he's also learning to spell it.

Hi Becky, we are using AAR1 and there's been some discussion of this on their forum. Marie suggests starting with AAR1 and then adding in AAS1 when AAR1 is complete. From there forward, just use them as completely independent programs.

Thanks! I actually discovered they had a forum and went over there to find the answer. I guess there's a forum for everything these days!
