I'm trying to find copies of Gilgamesh the King, The Revenge of Ishtar and The Last Quest of Gilgamesh, by Ludmila Zeman. They are OOP now and I can't find them for a reasonable price online. My library doesn't have them, but the library system for the next county over does, and I may be able to get them that way (my Dad could probably pick them up for me).

My question, however, is there a book or perhaps a website that is a decent alternative to the Ludmila Zeman books? This is for my second grader for history (we're using Connecting with History) so it has to be child appropriate. This version, Gilgamesh, Man's First Story is suggested for the next level on CWH, but I'm not sure if this would be too old or mature for our purposes this year.

This is the version I use with my fifth graders. I think the picture books you listed are more appropriate for a second grader, but I don't know where to find them cheap.

Have you tried AddAll (under "used books") or Bookfinder? Rainbow Resource seems to have one of the books left.
