Our standardized test scores reveal that dd (grade 10) needs to beef up her probability and statistics skills. I'm looking for something she could do one day per week (a book with explanations and problems).

I appreciate any and all recommendations.

You may want to consider adding this game in to whatever you do:
Probaddility

(yes that is spelled right) ;)

It is an interesting game that lays the foundation for probability based on figuring out what is on the underside of someone else's cards utilizing only your own cards, their undersides, and a chart of how many of each card-combination there is.

And it's not overly expensive (their other games are great fun too!).

I don't know if they have it.. but I've heard the "Keys to.." series is great for what you're talking about.. so if they have the topic you're looking for they may be a good way to go.

Don't forget the stuff on kahn academy too
