I had a very neat experience at Mass yesterday.

Above the alter we have a large carved Crucifix. It tends to be shadowed due to the lighting most of the time. Yesterday, while Father held up the chalice and host, dd8 kept whispering "look how bright it's getting." To keep her quiet, I looked up, and she was right. It was getting brighter, the crucifix was fully bathed in light. Apparently there are skylights right above as well. It was beautiful. It sent shivers up and down my back. My eyes teared up.

I wish I could have captured it on film, it was so nice.
