Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just shopped for the first time in a Hobby Lobby. This is a newer location, and the store is huge.

I am very impressed. It was clean, well-organized, and had such a variety of craft materials I can't find at Michael's and A.C. Moore. And there were so many items that had crosses or were Christian in nature.

It has a huge sewing section, which was super nice, and their offerings in the had a nice variety, too.

I was super pleased by their selection of calligraphy supplies, some brands and items I haven't seen anywhere else except online.

I've also wanted to get those Bistro Chalk markers FOREVER and haven't been able to find them...until today! Maybe the other places have them but I couldn't find them.

I also love that they are closed on Sundays!

This is going to be my favorite craft store when I visit my MIL for sure!

Now I know why people always talk about that store!

They also have weekly coupons and specials in the paper (or online).

Their layout is so much easier to navigate compared to some of the other stores in our area.

Get their online coupons - you'll get at least two every week in your e-mail ;)

Often, I'll have my children pay for something after me to utilize the coupons. I just pass the phone back with the coupon.

I like Hobby Lobby too! I too appreciate that they close on Sundays and sell Christian items. I don't like shopping much anymore, but I consider Hobby Lobby one of the few pleasant places to shop. Also, the only music that I have heard there is rather soft and gentle.

I like ours and wish it was bigger. I think their prices are high unless it is on sale. In other words, the sale price is the regular price in my mind. Our's plays Christian music. I won a gift card at a fundraiser back in March and have only used half of it! I want so much that I just can't make a decision!    Even Dh likes that store!

I agree that non-sale prices are higher on many items than some of the other craft stores - though I think Joann's is more expensive too. But their sales are SO good - always 30-50% and everything goes on sale frequently. If it isn't on sale one week it probably will be the following week and if not the week after. The other craft stores don't consistently have the deep discounts.
