Hello ladies,

I'm requesting prayer for my uncle's adult step-daughter, Jane, who is an alcoholic with three children. This past week she has reached out to an uncle who took her to see his priest who prayed over her, and she has been praying the rosary every day! She has also gone to an AA meeting!

These are huge steps for this lady whose children are suffering greatly (little food in the home, poor hygine).

Please remember her in your prayers, as she is now back at home which is about an hour and a half drive from the uncle who has been helping her this past week.

God of mercy, we bless You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who ministered to all who come to Him.

Give Your strength to ________, Your servant, bound by the chains of addiction.

Enfold him/her in Your love and restore him/her to the freedom of God's children.

Lord, look with compassion on all those who have lost their health and freedom.

Restore to them the assurance of Your unfailing mercy, and strengthen them in the work of recovery.

To those who care for them, grant patient understanding and a love that perseveres.
