My ds (4) is scheduled to have a colonoscopy with biopsy tomorrow. It will be a tough couple of days for all of us as we had to start preparing last night for this procedure. I'm very familiar with colonoscopies as I have had it done a couple of times, but when your child is involved my heart just aches. As much as we are wanting answers it also scares me as to what they may find.
I am offering up my heart ache and worry.
I could really use some prayers for strength, strength to watch my son as he fasts today, strength to watch my son undergo the procedure, and strength to wait to hear the news from the doctors.
Please hold my ds in your prayers. As a four year old he knows what is being asked of him in the next couple of days, but I'm not sure how much he understands.
Please know I hold you all in my prayers.
