Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Cod liver oil does seem the most popular here. I thought that it was used mostly in winter and other fish oil is used in summer (other meaning which kind...I don't know). I have been taking Flaxseed oil and was using Woman's Oil . I have to provide more stomach acid because if not I will belch fish oil all day...Does anyone else have this problem? While pregnant this is not tolerable.
Lisa posted about Coromega fish oil..that looked interesting. I just know this is a supplement that I definitely need for various reasons. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I take CLO year round. When I burp, it tastes like lemon, not fish. I use Carlson brand liquid. I used to take another brand of capsules and burped fish all day . I hear flaxseed is supposed to be so good for you but I do not know much about it.

Tammy, the Coromega is an orange flavored product with a pudding texture. You can refrigerate it and use it cold, you can add it to yogurt or smoothies. I squeeze it onto a spoon for my children. It says right on the package, "No fish burps!"      I think it is an excellent product. I started taking it when pregnant with my third child, after going through post partum depression after my second baby. It seems to have helped my emotional well-being tremendously.

I have used flax seed and flax seed oil, but I really don't care for the flavor, and have found the oil to go rancid well before I was able to use it all. The Omega 3's in fish oil is supposed to be more bioavailable than in flax seed/oil.

You can order a free sample of Coromega from their website, if you are interested in trying it.
