Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My ds-12 is just about finished with Saxon 6/5.(we started in the summer)

He will be attending a wonderful private Catholic school next fall for 7th grade. I need to find a good program for him to work on over the next months. (He has made wonderful progress and I don't want to lose that)
I worry about Saxon 7/6 because I know it starts off with a lot of review (many weeks worth in fact) He is just getting a good grasp on adding, subtracting, multipying and dividind fractions, and geometry.

I don't really have the time to make him custom work for daily use...but I would like to see him continue progressing as he has been doing.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It also has to be very low cost and money is very tight right now.
Blessings,
Joann

Could you give him the tests for 7/6, and then pick up the book at the point where he says, "I've never done this before," or where you notice him having trouble? My boys have always hated the beginning of each Saxon book.

I was thinking of this as an option, Stacy. He is in such very good "groove" using Saxon right now....this would be a way to continue on the same path.
Thanks

Along with the free printables, you might also look at Khan Academy for their free videos.

Maybe do some Math Mammoth? It is very inexpensive and very child-led.
