Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I came across a few devotional options for the Kindle and wondering if anyone else has used these or has one they'd like to recommend. I have yet to find a children's book I love and at any rate didn't order in time so I am being sorely tempted by a 99 cent instant delivery. wish I could tell more about the quality of the devotions, but for less than a buck am I being too picky?

children oriented:
Looking up to Lent
With God, All Things are Possible
for adults:
Reconciled to God
Lord Open My Heart

I was just browsing around for something to read for Lent (not necessarily on the kindle) and discovered that In Conversation with God book 2 part 1 ~ Lent and Holy Week is $8.95 for the kindle.

Not especially cheap but the books are not either. All the books (7in all) are on the Kindle in 2 parts each. Expensive if you're looking to get them all but if you just wanted the one.. not too terrible.

I tried to look up the past conversations here where these books are recommended but the search engine keeps timing out on me. But they're here somewhere but I didn't want to wait to post until I could find them.

I'm glad you posted these. I was just saying to my spiritual director how frustrated that I couldn't get these electronically. The price does seem a little high to me -- especially since I already have the physical books (and paid for them).

Viviane, could you do the free first chapter option to get a better look at the content and see if it is what you want?
I do that a LOT! Love that option.

I, too, have wished these were available for kindle, but that is really high given that it is only "half" the book. $18 for a digital book! Wow!
