Recently, I'd been reading with my son about Leif Ericson and the Viking explorations of North America. The topic came up at dinner, and Daddy proceeded to tell him all about Viking beserkers - the warriors who went into battle in a dramatic rage and often charged in naked, with only a helmet and sword.

So the other day, out of nowhere, my 7 year old comes charging down the stairs, yelling at the top of his lungs, wearing nothing but a dress up Viking helmet and brandishing a giant nerf sword.

We laughed like crazy! Kids and the things they come up with...
