Please pray for my daughter's godfather's mother, a dear friend and unofficial family member; she is having her hip replaced this coming Tuesday. She is in good health otherwise, which is reassuring, but she's also 75 years old. She's a practicing Catholic, so I know she will appreciate your prayers.

Update 1/26:

Surgery went well and my friend is doing wonderfully. She is off the morphine drip and pain management is working well. She has started physical therapy, and that is going well, too.

Please keep praying for her; she is a wonderfully-independent woman and recovery is expected to take many weeks. So far, everything is on track, which is great!
