A few days ago, after being inspired by Alice's and Alicia's garden blogs, I decided to start a garden blog (Our Lady's Garden). I put the 2 garden blogs, mentioned above, in my sidebar. Does anyone else have a garden blog?

I don't have a garden blog, but I do have a page of my blog dedicated to the goings on in my garden. It is called Lapazfarm Garden Journal and it is linked from my side bar. I have been thinking of turning it into a seperate blog but have not gotten around to it (too busy in the garden ). Right now there isn't much to it, just a chronology of plantings, etc. I'll be adding some more pictures soon as the garden progresses.

Theresa,
Your garden journal is very informative. I placed a link on my blog. Please let me know, if you ever start a separate blog/journal.

Your garden could teach my garden a thing or 2

My garden is rather pathetic, actually. I can't seem to get annuals to grow there at all. The vegetable garden has been a bust for four years now, ever since we moved. I REALLY want to grow tomatoes and herbs, if nothing else, and I've had the worst luck of it. Theresa's sidebar is VERY inspiring. Makes me want to get back out there and work more compost in. And maybe I'll do what she did and clip samples as plants start to die and take them in for expert advice.
We just got 50 strawberry plants and I'm tempted to give them a try in the front beds, because the back garden is so unlikely to flourish. They just spread like ground cover, right?

Well, I've been kicking around the idea ...
I do a lot of nature journaling on my main blog, and as the spring gets going, and we do (hopefully) lots of gardening, I was thinking of maybe starting *another* blog devoted entirely to nature study and gardening with my children ... now I just have to think up a good name!

Hee hee! I am so happy I just had to share the news! I got a tiller today!!! Yippee!
It is a Troybuilt 5.0 horsepower Bronco. I am beyond thrilled.
Now if it will just stop raining long enough for me to use it....

If anyone is looking for the name of a specific plant, Stef's garden blog is great. She has a lot of photos of various plants, along with their names. Thank you for sharing.
