I just realized today that we are moving in after 7 years of living here   
Dh has a new job here, we have decided that we might as well stay in this house, so are figuring out things to do to it--like renovating the kitchen so it is more workable.
I have been so stressed. I realized that we are finally moving in. We were only supposed to be here 2(!) years. Dh looked for jobs back home and here for the last 5(ugh). I never really unpacked, or settled in, or felt at "home." It's not my ideal place to live and I still get very homesick but at least I know this is where I am hanging my hat for the next few years.
Could I have prayers for some peace with my "new" home, some good contractors and helpers to get it more usable, my unpacking, that I can soon really feel part of the community, that I can see the things that are positive here so I feel less homesick, especially when things aren't going well , and that I can figure out how to get to visit family(we have none here )at least once a year.
