I just learned that the founder of the DJM and spiritual diretor for S.O.L.T (this is the order in which my formation was ) Fr. Santan Pinto has passed away as a result of vehicle accident . Fr. Pinto worked with Mother Teresa and it was she who encouraged him to move to the Americas even though he wanted to stay in his homeland of India . He was considered to be very much continuing on of Padre Pio's work .
This will be very hard time for the DJM and I'm not sure what will be done or who if anyone will step into his position .
