Has anyone seen the St Joseph Board Books by Catholic Book Publishing Co?
They have titles such as: We Go to Mass, Gifts of God, Our Blessed Mother etc
I had a bookseller tell me over the phone that they looked lovely, but it is not the same as seeing for myself. And well the next best thing to me seeing is your eyes
If you do like them which ones would be the pick?

I have GIfts of God, Our Friends the Saints, and Our Blessed Mother. The illustrations are very much like those you'd find in the St. Joseph books illustrated by Jude Winkler. The "Jude Winkler style" isn't my favorite style, but that's a personal pref thing!!! I think I got these when I had my oldest, but we have other Catholic board books we prefer now and these don't come out much anymore.
Let me know which of the three books that I've got that you're most interested in and I'll take pics and upload them so you can see one whole book....with YOUR OWN EYES....before you buy and ship!!!

We have the We Go to Mass, Easter, and Guardian Angels books. I got them for the boys when they were about 1 and 2. The pictures are that sort of sweet 1950s holy card style. (Not my favorite either, Jen!). Each page has a heading and a little text, often they repeat each other. They make rather dull read alouds. That said, my guys LOVED the handles when they were younger and they were effective as mass kit books in that they held their attention. I would get them again but more as meditative tools rather than read alouds or educational tools. Hope this helps.

We got several of these when my oldest was a baby, too. I think it was the three titles you mentioned specifically, actually. My kids didn't really like them that much. We brought them to the cry room at our church and decided to leave them there in case another family would enjoy them more than we did.

No experience with these, Erin, but I really like this board book, The Saving Name of God the Son, if you are specifically looking for a religious board book. It is lovely to look at, and I enjoy reading it aloud.

Oh well if it is 1950s Jude Winkler style I'm not sold then. Mind you it is for my niece not own children but still I only buy what I love for my own, kwim?
I'm ordering Christmas presents and thought some Mass books would be good. Back to the drawing board.

My Sebastian just received a copy of Saving Name for St Nicholas and I have copies on the way for nephews (older brother of niece). I was figuring if there was anything else out there as gorgeous someone would have mentioned here already We do love book chat here

My 4 year old loves these, mainly because they have handles and he can take them to Mass. Helps him sit quietly... for a little while. We don't have all of them, but we do have _We Go to Mass_ and _Gifts of God_.

I'm intrigued, what are these other books you prefer?
