Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I don't know if this is the right place to put this so please feel free to move it if it isn't (like you need my permission    )

Did y'all see this mailbox Adent wreath at CatholicMom.com?

We made one today with craft foam, skewers and a green extruded wreath! It's not as pretty as the sample but it looks cute, doesn't obstruct my mailbox and spreads the Advent message.

I had some helpers --which made it more fun.

Oh, Michele, it looks great! I had seen the original on CatholicMom.com but you've inspired me to actually do it.

This is very cool. Now, if only I had a mailbox….

I have been using my door wreath to mark Advent for the last few years - I have 3 purple 1 pink (and untill this year) 1 white bow which I place on it.

At Christmas I take off the bows and use my large red bow with sleigh bells on the wreath.

Cute Michele!

I'm doing something similar Tami, but with the four front windows of my house. I have 3 wreaths with a purple bow and one with a pink one. Then we'll switch out the bows on Christmas Eve. And add three Christmas wreaths to the dormers on the upstairs windows too.
