Update: Many of you have asked, sorry I've been slow to reply but we want to thank you for your prayers. My cousin's daughter is in her last round of chemo requiring hospitalization. So far all the news has been good news and we ask for continued prayers - but thanksgiving too that it looks like this is doing exactly what they want it to do, the rest of her treatments once this one is completed will be at home.
The fight is far from over, but this is a major milestone for them - to all be home together in a more normal routine with less intense radiation and/or chemo.
Thank you all for your prayers.
My cousin's 5 year old daughter has been recently diagnosed with PNET cancer of the brain and spinal cord.
(I did not post earlier because I didn't know how the family would feel about posting but they have since asked that she be included on all prayer lists). She has completed intense radiation therapy and is due to begin chemotherapy. She will be required to report late Christmas day for chemotherapy. The family just got news that tumors were also found in her bones. They are asking for the intercession of St. Peregrine. Please also keep the family in prayer. They have been attentive to the needs of other patients in the hospitals where their daughter has been and from what she posts, the girl has been uncomplaining in this latest round. Please keep them all in your prayers.

It is so difficult to watch children deal with this level of suffering, but they so often do it with inspiring grace! Praying for her and her family.

This is the same type of cancer that Tate had although they found his way too late. I will pray for intercession for this sweet angel.
