Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know of copywork books that use the HWT lines and font or a way to make pages like them? DS1 is doing so well with this style but he'll finish the kindergarten book around Christmas. I'd like to make or buy a copy book that uses it as well for next semester.

I'm totally willing to make my own pages, but would need to find a font that matches and I haven't been successful searching on my own.

Ideas?

Startwrite has HWT as a font option. I use it to make copywork for my kids.

Hi Erin, I'm not going to be much help, but we also used the HWT books for K and 1st. Maybe you could start on the first grade book after Christmas. After the 1st grade book, I just bought some of the lined paper from the HWT website and wrote my own for them to copy. If there is a font that matches somewhere online, I'd be interested in using that too, but don't know where to find it. (That's why I'm not much help, sorry)

BTW-We're in Missouri too!

Thank you! I didn't realize Startwrite included the HWT font, but that is the perfect solution. :)

YAY another MO homeschooler! I don't run into many online even though our local homeschool community is quite large.

We might very well go to the first grade book next semester, but I need to see if the font gets smaller or not. I don't think he's quite ready for that yet. And even if we do I still want to make a copybook for next year that includes our science and history facts, literature and faith quotes, etc.
