Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Well, tonight my DS 11 who is a Webelo's 2 is spending the night ALONE! Well, for those that know scouting, it's the first time he and his tent mate have to do everything and be led by a Boy Scout as opposed to Dad doing everything and being there. Dad will be somewhere in the vicinity.

And, now tonight, there's no cell coverage so I can't even check in with him (or him with me).

He tends to have a little bit of anxiety in these new situations (not sure where he gets it ) but if you could say a prayer for his safety and well-being, I would sleep better myself too.

Saying a Hail Mary now. Blessed Mary will take care of him!

We went through the exact same thing with my 11-ds last month.
I will be saying some prayers for both of you.

Praying with empathy...and joy, too. This is the beginning of the Path to Eagle...a journey well worth the effort.

Praying. It is so hard sometimes when they do these things. May God' covering be over him...
