Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I don't mean to stomp all over Mary's Pain about her limitations on her library, but I have jump off question.

Yesterday a mom was using this great big tote bag that had a telescoping handle and wheels, like luggage. But the bag itself had handles and was open (a tote).

I'm looking for something like that -- open and sturdy, but on wheels.

ETA: and of course, not too expensive.

Anyone have anything to recommend?

Ah, I've been doing a little searching and I think I'm looking for a rolling shopping bag likethese.

Anyone use these for library trips?

Swany Walkin' Bags makes an open tote bag on wheels. I've reviewed them in my professional travel writing life. They are great bags, as long as you don't mind that they are made in China.

If you'd like more info, please PM me.

I'm curious too. My husband has been suggesting I get something like this because he doesn't want me hurting myself on a library run. (Yes, I check out a lot of books. )

Those are cute! Better watch it while you are out strolling with it, someone might just give in to that bag-envy thing and want to bring it home

I saw a quilter with an unusual rolling bag that she says she got from a fabric store...you might want to try there?

As for me and the library...

I have a brightly colored crate that is carried by a strong 12 or 16yo boy.
It is bright so all of the books get back into it...it is one of a kind! I actually wanted to make a crate cover for it...
There are a lot of diy tutorials for this...I want to do this one so I can make pockets...maybe one library card pocket on the side of it? hmmm...now to find a way to put it on WHEELS!
