This morning I noticed that I had lost the Miraculous Medal off the chain I always wear. I had it yesterday and last night, but this morning it was gone.
Rats- it was my favorite medal.

I asked St. Anthony to help me find it. This morning, guess what fell out of my dd's math book when I picked it up out of her school basket!

The last time anyone touched that book was last Thursday. We had a field trip Friday and another science day trip yesterday (taking advantage of the great fall weather).

Maybe I should say St. Anthony found treasure and gave it back to me, . I had very grumpily put on another MM I have this morning, since I did not want to go without one, and I asked Blessed Mary and St. Anthony to help me find it.

I love those moments! My son lost his cross (wooden) and we've been looking and looking. I keep thinking that Our Lady will place it in our path if we're meant to find it. I'm just sad because it was a gift from a friend.

Last Friday evening, I realized that my miraculous medal was missing, and I prayed, remembering this thread, but also a little sad thinking that it would just be too much to find that teeny medal. It was a 5 year anniversary gift, and the chain and cross were a wedding gift from dh. I've already lost the entire necklace and found it once, it was too much to hope for.

Well, this evening, dh drove the van to run some errands, needed to move the middle tray, and he FOUND my medal in the van!!!

Of all places! I could have lost it outside the van ANYWHERE, and it fell off INSIDE the van, and was found...in the dark.

I had been so sad to lose it, and while I knew it was ridiculous, I felt a little abandoned. I'm really grateful to Our Lady and St. Anthony for helping me out.
