Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've had this book for some time and never implemented it but was looking at it today and found some poems related to October and apples which is perfect since we're going to the Apple Orchard on Friday.

Is this a book that can be used sporadically like this to just pick one lesson here or there that might apply with other areas we're studying or should it be used more sequentially?

Hope that makes sense,

I've used it to supplement lessons...sort of sporadically. I think it works fine that way. How wonderful that you've found some seasonal poems!

Edited to correct the link.

I agree with Jen. The lessons don't follow one from the other. Unless there is something mentioned in a lesson that requires some prior knowledge, I would think it's fine just to use the lessons you want. And even if the lesson depends on knowing something that is taught in another lesson, you wouldn't necessarily need to teach the earlier information or skill from ILL, but could cover that in whatever way works best for you and your family.

Peace,
Nancy
