Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We are blowing through our K year with our almost 4 year old and I am trying to figure out where to go next year with History. This year we are only doing Math, Phonics/Handwriting (from CHC), and Science. Next year we are planning on adding in History/Geography next year. I know she seems young but she begs to do school and ADORES her workbooks/learning. I need something hands on for History/Geography that I can use with a 4 year old. I have been looking at:
Usborne Time Traveler
A Child's History of the World

and then adding in some fun activities. Any suggestions to start looking for next year? She is advanced but currently isn't reading yet. She is doing K work everywhere else though.

Thanks. I think we will use books and then go from there with Lesson Pathways. I had totally forgotten that we had signed up for Lesson Pathways forever ago lol.

I highly recommend Mary Daly's First Timelin as a history if you want to do something with such a little one. It is very gentle, but there is a good booklist to download at the St. George's Books site to supplement. So, you can either just read the simple lesson she has and color the card, or, if you find your child needs something meatier, it is easy to supplement.

Thank you :) I'm all about exploring all different options. I have found so much I didn't know even existed until I started hanging out on boards lol
