could you please pray for my dd(10). Her pet fish died today. This was her very first pet. It lived for about a year and a half. She is heartbroken. She's one of those kids that just brings sunshine and love wherever she goes, and it breaks my heart to see her sad. Thanks.

Praying for your dd. My first thought on reading this was that her dear beloved pet was a truly good little Catholic fish, sacrificing its life on Friday.
 
Perhaps that thought can soften her sorrow just a bit.

Not minor! I still remember when my brother's first fish died, and when mine died not too long afterward. It's a sad day for your dd.

Praying...and it is not minor. I remember when our son lamented when his pet fish died...it did not feel minor at all.
