Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Our parish will start showing the new Catholicism dvds soon. Has anybody been involved with this new program? I was wondering if I should participate and if my 8th grader might enjoy it.

I'll be watching this thread! Our parish is starting this series soon, too, and I wondered if it was too mature for a 10YO.

The website said that it is for adults and mature high schoolers. I wasn't quite sure what "mature" meant in this context.

I talked to our pastor today and he said that it would be fine for an 8th grader to watch. So I will take him, but not the younger ones. I hope that this helps.

We went to watch the second episode today. My son loved it, but I wouldn't take a 10 year-old. Early high school or older is a good age for this I think.

Thanks for that update. Our series starts next weekend.
