Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We just bought this book to use for our curriculum, second hand off amazon, but the recipe which the curriculum says is included at the back of the book is not there! I can see the page where it should evidently be, but it is just left partially blank. Does anyone have a copy and would be kind enough to PM me the recipe so we can bake it? Thank you!

Oh dear, how disappointing. I wish I could help but I don't have a copy. We have checked it out from the library before - great book. And we didn't make the recipe.

Lucy, I just checked on Amazon and if you go to the "look inside the book" feature and select "Surprise me" it shows several pages. The recipe page came up. It's a little fuzzy and hard to read but if you zoom it I think you can make out most of it.
