My mother is in terrible pain today from a flare up of her sciatica. The new medication is not helping so far, and she is truly suffering.
Please pray that she will soon have relief... she did not sleep last night because of the pain, and she is exhausted and afraid. She is 76.
Update: Thank you all so much for your prayers. We had a couple of very grim days here with my mom confined to bed and in much pain. Today, though, she is feeling much better and was able to sit up some and walk without being in constant pain. She looks much better- not nearly so haggard and pale. It looks like she is on the mend.... thanks be to God!

I'm so sorry to hear of her problem.
My mom had the same thing several years ago.
She said it was much worse than being in labor.
I will be praying for a fast healing for her, as well as peace of mind.
