My dd, age 9, was wheeled into surgery a few minutes ago to have her appendix removed. I would appreciate prayers for her, the medical team, and our family (3 little siblings are understandably anxious). It is nearly 2 a.m. and has been a very long day. She requested, and received, the Sacrament of the Sick, as well as the Eucharist just before heading to surgery (from the priest who gave me Communion after she was born). :o) So many graces today. God is so good!
I do not get to post much, but I keep up on the prayer requests here and keep all your intentions in my prayers.

Thank you for the prayers! DD has done wonderfully well with recovery. Stitches were removed a few days ago and she is back to her usual activities, slightly toned down for another week or so. We are grateful for insurance!!!
