Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just got an email about these new picture study packets. They look pretty great. I just thought I would share!

I just received my Picture Study Portfolios in the mail. These are so nicely done! Each packet includes 8 good-sized (8x11ish) glossy prints on nice heavyweight photo paper (a well-chosen selection, too), a story about the artist by Amy Steedman (from The Stories of the Painters), a short bibliography of children's books about the featured artist, background information and questions to consider as well as the title, date, size, and museum for each print.

My only improvement would be to have the title, artist, and date of each picture printed on the bottom of the picture itself to remind the child when the print is displayed.

Altogether, a fantastic value for just under $13.00!!

So glad to hear a review! I was tempted to do this for next year.

Something that a label maker might do?
