Just asking for your prayers as the severe weather system that spawned the Joplin tornado and the OK tornadoes moves into our area today. They cut off that darn white area of highest risk at the Mississippi state line, but we live very, very close. I'm not sure storms respect political boundaries. The "safe" place in this house is not that great.

My inlaws, however, are definitely in the white area. My mil broke her wrist pretty badly this weekend. They really don't need to deal with anything else.

Continuing to pray for tornado victims... One of the members of our hs group was asking for prayers this morning as friends of theirs in OKC had lost their toddler and their 3 yo was missing...

Keep praying for the eastern part of the country today! I see that the tornado threat is diminished, but not gone.

We came through ok. A brief tornado touchdown across the river and one possibly south of us, but the damage was minor. CNN reported a tornado in midtown Memphis, but that was not correct. It *was* a rotating wall cloud, which seemed to be on the *brink* of dropping a tornado, but did not seem to -- thanks be to God!!
