I am mostly a lurker here these days but wanted to ask for your prayers. My dh and I have an 11 yr old and 13 yr old and found out during Holy Week that I'm expecting in early December! I must admit I was in a state of shock for awhile. I thought I was entering menopause! I am 44 and though my dr. says everything looks great (I got to hear the heartbeat at 7 1/2 weeks), I am still a little nervous. I am asking your prayers for a healthy baby and for me and my dh to trust in God's plan. My plan  was that I'd be going back to work parttime within the next year to help out with finances. God has other ideas, I think! My kids are very excited, especially my ds. Thank you for your prayers. I keep you all in mine daily.

I just had my baby # 4 at 41 so I know some of the fears of having a baby when you're "older". Trust and enjoy this new gift of life. Congratulations and many prayers for a beautiful, healthy baby that will bless your family many times over.

I am so happy for you, Courtney!!! Congratulations! I will be keeping you and baby in my prayers!! Btw, one of the sweetest things in life for me has been watching my teen boys cradling their newborn/infant/toddler/and so on brothers.
