Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My older children (4th grade and up) have been using Teaching Textbooks. We love it. However, I am wondering what to use before TT for my 1st grader. My other children did a mix of things (MUS, Saxon). I really don't want to do either of those so I am looking for something that isn't too time consuming since I will have 3 other children to work with.

I liked MCP Math, although DS didn't ... this year he's doing the new TT 3 and thriving on it.

We are just using a laid back approach to math before TT. My 7 year old is doing TT3, and before that we were using Family Math, math games, and living math read alouds along with real-life math.
