Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I watched a very moving show on EWTN during Holy Week - a Mother Angelica interview with Gregory Floyd who wrote the book 'A Grief Unveiled' after the tragic death of his 6 year old son. Here is the link to the audio broadcast/download if anyone is interested

This book is one of the holiest dealing-w-the-death-of-a-child books I know to send someone who has experienced this type of loss. It's meaningful and sacred. It doesn't ignore the pain, but embraces it.

Gregory Floyd is a wonderful writer!

Yes I've seen this show twice on EWTN and it inspired me very much.
I haven't seen the book but felt very touched & had such gratitude toward this man for sharing his story with a beautiful reverance for the cross God had given him & his wife.
I'm sure it has and will help many people who have lost a child.
