I have always struggled with feeling like I am not good enough. Not a good enough mom, wife, daughter, friend, housekeeper, cook, person.

I know it is good to be humble but this is not humility. This is loathing. It is affecting my life because I often feel why bother doing anything, it won't be very good anyway.

I know this thinking is wrong. I am going to be doing a 54-day Rosary for this and would appreciate any prayers you can send my way.

I believe it was in a post someone wrote to Joanna that remember you are a daughter of God.

That alone makes you "good enough." That alone is the reason any of us wake up every morning and bother doing our daily duty in our homes and for our families.

If you offer a prayer first thing in the morning and a smile last thing at night it becomes good enough. Those two things alone make it sacred and that, surely, is "good enough."

Prayers and blessings for you through this Lenten season.

I have had those same feelings many times. The only thing that has truly gotten those feelings to go away is to remind myself that God died for ME. Not for the whole world, but for me personally. He has a special plan just for me. We are all beautiful in His eyes.
